Mr. Sun
It is finally really summer around here!! This next week is going to be very hot but I am not going to complain, I just remind myself how cold and long the winter is and then the hot sun doesn't seem bad at all! Yeah I know that hot for us is nothing compared to all of you in Arizona, but 92-95 is pretty hot for here. It is so nice to send the kids outside to play in the water. So around here we are still singing Mr. Sun, sun. Mr. Golden sun, please shine down on me.

Scooter Crash
I guess I will just have to get used to my kids crashing on their bikes and scooters, it seems to be happening on a daily basis. Cameron's last crash scraped him up pretty good, I heard him scream and knew that this time it was more than just a scraped knee. He must have slid on his face because he got his nose good. It was so sad to hear him cry so hard. But now he wants me to show everyone this picture! Boys will be boys I guess, and I will have to learn to be a mom of boys and be prepared for anything. It's nice to have my mom to consult with, she survived my three brothers, so she reassures me that my boys are just normal boys, not crazy, just normal! .jpg)

Parade of Homes
These are just a few of my favorite pictures from the Parade of Homes. We saw 10 houses in 2 days and I forgot my camera the first day. That was the day that we saw the big huge 10 & 13,000sf homes, and our favorite home that was a mid evil style. They only let you in each house one time so we couldn't go back and take pictures. We definitely found some great paint colors and know what style we like. Anyone that would like to come next year with me is welcome, they do it every year in June. It is well worth the $10 ticket!
This master bedroom is our favorite(above) we are going to copy the paint colors and the black furniture.
This was a really cute room for a teenage girl. I love the black&white. I wish I had taken my camera the first day, there were some really cute boys rooms. Today we didn't seen any cute rooms for boys.
Cute kids play room. There were so many cute playrooms, I wish I had my camera for all of them.
I love the Teal blue and red, and the wood floor.
Little Hayders got to come with us to every house! He was so good and everyone told us how cute he is!!! Luckily we didn't have to take Colby and Cameron. Thanks Hilary and GMa for tending them.

The bottom picture is the view from the back yard! We didn't get everything on our house wish list, but we did get this Great view of Timp which was at the top of the list! We can't wait to have bar-b-ques at our house, now we just need a great deck to finish it off!.jpg)
Well we have finally joined the club of "Home Owner". Today, Friday the 13th (not sure if we should be superstitious or not) we closed on our first house!!! Yeah for us! We have been looking and patiently waiting for more than a year, but our patience has paid off and prices have dropped over a $100k and we found a great deal on a house. The people that live there right now are 80 years old and are moving back to Vermont where they are from. I can not believe that they are doing this move all by themselves, no kids or grandkids to help them. The lady, Kitty, is an Antique Collector and has more furniture and paintings and just stuff than anyone ever should have. I wish we had pictures of the inside of the house before they move all their stuff out, it's amazing. It is hard for Mark to picture just how much room we are going to have when all of their stuff is out. This has been the longest month waiting to close and move in but it is finally here and we are so excited!! We have been shopping and looking at paint colors and the whole works. Lots of things that we want to do to the house... This week we went to the Utah Valley Parade of Homes to get ideas. Oh my are there some amazing houses out there!! WOW!! After leaving the 13,000sf home in Alpine we were glad that we will never have that much house to furnish or clean, but it was very fun to see, it makes our 3600sf feel small! So that is my news of the day. So far I only have a couple of pictures of the outside, I can't wait to see it empty on Monday and take more pictures. And I am so excited for my mom and dad to be here to help us move in and get all set up.

Is it June or March???
64high 34low
Do you know what these numbers are???? The temperatures for today!!!! Can you believe it?!?! What month is this? June? No way, it can't be. Yesterday it snowed. Holy cow!!! I am moving to AZ, I can't take this cold anymore. I couldn't even go to the boys baseball games yesterday because it was too cold to take Hayden out.
This weather is totally ridiculous. I am so sick having to run my heater and wear a jacket. The trees are finally all getting leaves but they will probably start turning red tomorrow with this weather. Ok, I will stop ranting and raving now. I just needed to get it out of my system!

Lost Tribes of the Amazon

We saw this article on CNN last week and were amazed by it. I still am amazed and thought I would share it with you. It is about an isolated Tribe in the Amazon Rain Forrest that they are sure has never had contact with the outside world. Take a look and the pictures and read the article, it is very fascinating. You can see the warriors painted red and pointing their bows up at the plane.
Cameron's first Game!!!
All of these little boys are so cute! Sitting on the grass with the team seems to be the most fun part of the game! For the boys that is. For the parents it's watching the chaos in out outfield when they are all running for the ball and crashing into each other! .jpg)

For some reason he just has to use the PINK bat. He and Colby are really into the "tough guys were pink" thing! But despite the color he hits the ball pretty hard! Colby's first Game!

Mark pitching to Colby.
In this swing,(below) and I wish you could see it, the ball bounced off the bat and hit Colby in the face. He cried for a minute and Mark had to talk him into staying out there, but he did, he went back to the plate and hit the next one way out to right field! I thought he might have a bloody nose so I started walking out there with a Kleenex, but he was ok. After the game Mark told me to stay put and not come out there next time!! He said Colby needs to learn to be tough and shake it off! I know he does, but I am still the mom and will have to get used to seeing my kids get banged up in sports right?! I thought that Colby might have thought it is was Mark's fault the ball hit him and be mad at his dad but he did great and wasn't mad. Today he has a bruise on his nose and loves to tell people what happened!! I guess he is ALL BOY!.jpg)

6 MONTHS OLD!!
This is my poor miserable teething baby. Poor guy, hit 6 months and got his first tooth. He was so sad yesterday, he would bite on anything he could get his hands on, he really liked chewing on a cold rag, I know it felt good on his gums. It was so sad to see him like this, he is usually the happiest baby on earth. And holy cow! how is he already six months old?!?! I have to say that this is one of the funnest ages for babies, they are just so cute and learning so much, you can see it in their face. He just started saying DA DA DA. There is no hope for me, my kids all look like Mark and they have all said DA DA first! Oh well, I sure love them and they are so darn cute, even if they don't look like me!!

Going for a walk was the best way to get him to calm down. He loves to be outside!
