1st Trip of the Year

The snow finally melted off of Strawberry Lake enough to go fishing. We had been driving up there for a few weeks waiting for it to melt and so the first chance we got, we had Family Home Evening at the Lake! Colby and Cameron love it but not quite as much as Mark. This was Hayden's first fishing trip too! The only thing we caught this time though was this Craw-dad. The boys thought it was amazing that mom would actually pick it up! If they only knew how many of these things I caught with my brothers when we were kids. We would take my mom's laundry basket down to the irrigation ditch and catch a basket full then bring them home and cook them over a fire in the backyard. I can still picture the old coffee can that we would boil water and drop them in and watch them turn pink! I don't think I ever actually ate any of them, but my brothers did! I am sure that this will not be our last trip of the year out to Strawberry Lake.

Preschool Graduate!

All done with Sunshine Circle Preschool and ready for Kindergarten. Cameron said that he wants to be a Police Man when he grows up.

School's Out For SUMMER!!

YEAH for SUMMER!!! Tomorrow is the last day of school. This has been a really busy week, with end of the year programs and field trips and graduations etc... We are really excited for summer and only know that it is here because the calendar says so. The weather has been more like late fall, with even a little snow. But, we know the sun will shine again soon and we can dig out the swim suits and slip and slides. Colby had a great time in First Grade and grew by leaps and bounds in reading and writing and numbers. He is such a great student and it is so much fun to see him learn and grow. He is really looking forward to 2nd Grade, and I can't believe he will be in 2nd grade. Here's to a GREAT SUMMER!!!!

Five Years Old!!!!

WOW! Cameron is 5. I really can't believe it. We have been teasing him for the last few weeks saying that we decided that he couldn't turn 5, that he had to stay 4. This morning when he woke up he said, "Dad, did you decide if I can turn 5 now?" When Mark said, "I guess you can be 5." Cam yells "Yes! I am 5 now!" We had a pretty fun day and Cam got some fun new stuff... a Penguin Webkinz, Lego Racer Car, Frog Habitat, Snow Cone Maker, Build A Bear, and $15. I am still in shock that my baby is 5. He also graduated from Preschool this week and is all ready for Kindergarten. Kids really do grow up too fast. Happy Birthday Craman.

Questions from Cameron

Cam- "Do people get older than 50 years old?"

Me- "Yes they do. Grandpa is 59."

Cam- "He is? Wow! Does he speak old?"

Me- "What do you mean "Speak Old?""

Cam- "You know, he can't talk very good because he is so old."

We can't wait to see Grandpa again and see if he speaks old!!

5 Months Old

This sweet baby is so much fun to have around. I can't believe that he is already 5 months old, time is flying by so fast. Hayden is very interactive and always has a smile ready for whomever looks at him. Colby and Cameron love to play with him, and dress him up as you can see. Hayden is a good sport and just loves the attention from his big brothers! This little chunker weighs 19lbs and is growing out of all his clothes, I can't keep up! We sure love this little boy.
