Easter In St. Johns

Grandpa waited for the coldest day of the week to let the kids ride Sweet Pea but since "kids are kids" they didn't mind the cold at all!!  They all loved it and each had at least two turns riding.  Thanks so much Grandpa.

If we could've really locked them in the horse trailer we would have. Should we have told them that all the dirt was really poop!?

I was feeling quite sorry for myself that I wasn't going to get to see baby Maci since we were not going to make it to Phoenix.  But being the nice, kind, wonderful people that they are, Aaron and Jodi brought the baby to SJ!  She was so sweet and tiny and amazing and all of 6 pounds.  Colb and Cam loved holding her and kept telling me they wanted a baby sister :)   Thanks Aaron & Jodi for bringing the sweet angel baby to see Aunt April, I know you came up only to see me!!

These two little babies, Maci and Addison (Brittany & Ben's baby) were born on the same day! 

Since the kids have Aunt Terri for a Grandma, you can bet that coloring Easter Eggs was pretty FUN! Grandma, or  "OBAMA" as Jaden calls her, had like 6 different coloring kits and lots of eggs. 

Because we were in St. Johns and the weather in the Spring is never normal, we had to move the family Easter party to the church.  It was actually great to have it there because there was lots of room for the kids to play and not be in the way and it was warm so the new babies in the family could come too!

Hayden made some new BFF's in Colt and Savannah.  They loved him and he loved them.  I really wish we lived closer to them it was so nice to have babysitters.
