This baby thinks he needs to climb onto everything! AHH! My other babies didn't climb.Hayden likes to help me with the chores by taking all of the clothes out of the drawers, so GREAT to have help!
Even though it was frigid cold, Hayden was happy just to be "hhhside"
Since we have been back from the hospital it has seemed so hard to get our family back into a regular groove. The kids think that they should be immune from doing chores of any kind and Hayden is teething and wants to be held all day. All of this equals....A VERY MESSY HOUSE & A FRAZZLED MOM! Shoud I have used the word frazzled, and did I even spell it right? Anyway, last night I took the time to write myself a realistic "TO DO LIST" for Tuesday. I went to bed with high hopes for the next day, looking forward to all of the things I was going to get done. One of which was Get the Boys Chore Chart going again. I've had enough of the "But I have Guillian Barre, I can't do chores." and the "I am so sick of doing all of Cameron's chores, why can't he do it?" excuses. Cameron, in the same breath he told me he is too sick to do chores, asks if he can go ride his bike! Go figure.
Lucky for me, when I woke up I still had the desire to tackle my "TO DO LIST" and got started on the mountain of Laundry and the Spring Cleaning of closets. I was even in a good mood!!
As I went about the morning I quickly started to realize that my "TO DO LIST" should have only had one item "TO DO" and it should have been; Hold Hayden all day because he is teething and fussy and get nothing else done. If I had just known that that was all I needed "TO DO" to be successful today I would have saved myself the trouble of writing down my LIST!
Of course Marks response to my complaints is one worded. MOTHERHOOD. Thanks babe that helps A TON!
On a brighter note, I did take the time to cuddle and love on my baby, I know those days will be gone all too soon.

I love the word Frazzled, and yes I believe you spelled it right. I have used that word often to explain to my husband how I am feeling after a rough day. Motherhood can be hard at times and especially when you had intentions to do lots of things and it didn't happen. That's the way it goes sometimes and we have to be okay with that. Just think your little guy probably was so glad to have you take care of him.
All too familiar April, Caroline is getting her molars too and she's so dramatic - she flails herself on the floor if I don't pick her up. I think you are right though to love that little guy, I need to do that more. I just wish I could have two more hours each day...
April,
This was so adorable! We all have those days where we have the best attitude in the morning, but by 4pm, we are completely out of steam. I Love that you held your baby instead...it's totally enough!
I've got the same 'To Do' list you do! Hold cranky baby who is teething. Done.
