To those of you who saw my post called BUGS, I took it down for two reasons.
One- it was pretty rude, and I am not a rude person.
Two- because it didn't convey my feelings acurately.
So let me clarify.
I do not dislike NieNie. I just dislike what her blog has become. It is all about "look at me and all of the publicity she gets" and not so much about real life. And this bugs me because never once has she said Thank you or shown any concern for the people in St, Johns who helped her especially my parents who continue to deal with it today. The post was just a year or so of frustration coming out and it came out a little wrong in the first post!
For those of you who may not know....NieNie's plane crashed into my parents backyard. My mom was home at the time and was scared to death. I'm really happy that Stephanie seems to be doing so well and I wish her the very best. I'm a little defensive of my parents though and Thank you would be nice to hear.

I'm sorry if my lengthy comment added to your frustration!
I don't blame you for your frustration. And I agree about her blog. I don't read it anymore for that same reason. It was a good read when it was a celebration of life and motherhood, but it's not that anymore. I'm glad her life is going well and her recovery is miraculous, but her blog isn't very uplifting anymore.
Your family has every right to be frustrated...especially with a ridiculous and unfair lawsuit pending. The Nielsons wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for your mom and her neighbors.
Hope you guys are having a great Christmas!
missed the bugs post, but i understand, sometime's it's therapeutic to put into words a bit of frustration and thoughts.
Hi April! Every once in a while I peak in at your blog. Its been a few months, and I didn't read your bug post, but I just wanted to tell you that I have had similar thougts about NieNie. I think she is an incredible person, who has overcome unbelievable challenges. But I have wondered about your parents and those that helped her at that moment. I agree that they deserve a thank you. I don't blame you for being defensive. I love your blog by the way. You are so good at capturing everyday family life.
Oh, by the way, this is Katie Udall. My blog is private, so I figured you had no idea who left the last comment.
