My kids have really been saying the craziest things lately. I wanted to write some of them down before I forget.
Hayden, most things that come out of this kids mouth are note worthy, it's hard to remember them all.
While we were diving in the car down to Provo the other day he asked me the most random question, he says, "Mom, do Spiders have butt's?" I had to laugh and imagine the thoughts that were going through his head!
I try to keep him moving during the day which is not too easy since we can't really play outside anymore. The other day he was running races from one end of the house to the other and he would say, "On your mark, GET SICK, GO!"
He tells me all the time that he is "too sick, or too tired" to do something he's been asked to do.
Colby is the Chess king. He and his dad play a couple of matches a day. Colby is a dang smart kid and is really good at chess, but he talks so much trash that Mark finds it hard to let him win. It's really funny actually to listen to Colby, I don't know where he learned to talk trash.....Actually, I'll blame it on his older cousins, Colt, Jake, Tuff, you know who you are!! When we tell him not to be so mouthy, he says that he is just confident! Ahhh.... Mark finally had to tell him that confidence is in your head, not your mouth. I have to say though that he does have the skills to back up his mouth!
He also told us that he needs to get some deodorant! WHAT?!?!
His friends older brother told him that you have to wear deodorant to get girls to like you!
Cameron wants to be an Elf.
He asked me today if his ears look like Elf ears. He was disappointed when I told him No! He kept looking in the mirror and saying that, yes, he does have Elf ears. Then he asked me how he could be an Elf. I told him he could get a costume and be in plays or commercials or something but that was not the right answer.
He wants to be one of Santa's elves and he has a plan.
He is going to wait up for Santa on Christmas Eve, then tell him that he wants to be an Elf. Santa will take him to the North Pole and train him to be an Elf. He will be able to come home for most of the year, but when it's time to get ready for Christmas he will have to go back to the North Pole.
As crazy as his idea is, it was really fun to listen to him plan and to see the sparkle in his eyes. It made me excited for my kids and Christmas. I remember being little and really believing in Santa, it really was magical and Santa really could do anything!

Super cute post April. But instead of blaming Colby's cockiness on his cousins, I think you should direct that blame to his Uncle Mark. Just sayin'.
