Madeira, Portugal

After leaving Lisbon, we had a day at sea before we got to the next stop, the island of Madeira. It is a Portugese Island northwest of the Canary Islands about 300 miles off the coast of Africa. It was so pretty and so tropical. Again we were totally impressed with the people and the cleanliness of the island. We were able to wander through the streets and see how the people live. Really cool! The whole place was totally decked out for Chirstmas. They even rolled out the red carpet down some of the streets, it was great.
