What a mess!

Have you ever seen a soda can do this? While we were gone over Spring Break, the fridge in my garage got a little to cold and froze these soda's and they exploded!! When I opened the fridge I flipped thinking that it was mold all over my fridge then noticed the pop cans. Holy cow what a mess. Thank goodness I didn't have too much stuff in there. I would have loved to have seen it happen, I'll bet it was a great explosion! I never knew that the cans would explode when frozen, I learn something new everyday, if only I wasn't the one who had to clean up the mess!

TWO WHEELS

While I have the time I am going to post the other news of the day. Cameron learned to ride his bike w/o training wheels!!! He got it on the first try! He never would ride his bike because he could go faster on his scooter, and was embarrassed of the training wheels. Finally, we had a nice enough day for Mark to spend the time to teach him, and after the first try he was off and riding! He asked me to come a take pictures of him. I am going to have my work cut out for me now looking for Colb and Cam around the neighborhood. Way to go CAM!

CUTE CUTE CUTE!

Oh my how I love this baby! He is just the best. I know I am setting a record with more than one post in a day, but I took these pictures today and just had to share them. Hayden is such a joy, and always has a big smile for whomever looks his way! If I were guaranteed my next baby would be as good as Hayden, I would have another one asap, he's just the best. And about the pink Bumbo seat...he's a tuff boy, he can pull it off. It's the only pink thing in the whole house! LOVE LOVE LOVE this baby!

Look at Cameron's CHEESE face, don't ya love it?!!!!

Colby and his snowman, I can't remember what he named it, but he loved it and was so proud of it. He cried when we had to leave to go back to AZ!

Looking Back....

Since I don't have many new pictures to post, I have been looking through some old ones and I thought I would share some of my favorites. I think all of these are from 2004.
This cheese grin made my day everytime I saw it! I love to look at these pictures and remember my little "Craman". I can't believe he will be 5 next month.
Look how handsome and little Colby was.

This was visiting in Midway for Christmas, look at the cute red nose. I remember that Christmas was extra cold, but the kids still loved to be outside in the snow because we lived in Tempe then. Now they don't like the snow so much!

Super Hero Scooter Boy

This is Colby way back in 2004. This picture has to be one of our all time favorites! He is alllllll boy, and was way into Super Heros. His shoes are Buzz Lightyear, knee pads are The Hulk, Scooter is Spiderman, he even has a Spiderman shirt on, and on his helmet is Superman. I still love to see this picture and probably always will.

4 Months Old!!

Four months ago today this sweet little thing was born. I can't believe how fast the time goes by after they are born but drags on forever before they are born. He has learned how to blow bubbles and giggle and it is the cutest thing in the world! Even at 4am this morning I could hear him blowing bubbles in his bed and I just had to smile :) I really enjoy every minute because before I know it he will be seven like Colby and be to big to want to cuddle with mom anymore. Needless to say, but he is a very healthy little dude! I love his kissable cheeks.

Colby's still sick and I am dead tired!

So this is me after being up with a sick kid and a nursing baby all night. I feel like I need to be wound up again so I can get through the rest of the day.
And this is Colby, resting, not so happily in his bed.
Colby was doing so well and seemed to be totally getting over his Mono, but then this week he started coughing and looking worn out so I, being the mean mom that I am, didn't let him outside to play and ride his bike. He had to stay home and rest after school instead of play and if you were to ask him, his life was totally over since he could not play. Anyway... yesterday he went over to the neighbors house while Mark and I were at scouts and while he was there he got the chills and a fever and just laid on their couch. Great! is what I was thinking. He went right to sleep when we put him in bed but then woke up at about 11pm screaming in pain. He was saying that he hurt under his right arm and he was burning up again. After more Motrin, he fell back to sleep but moaned and groaned all night. He woke up again at 3am in pain again and wanted me to sit with him until he fell asleep. After about 20 minutes he fell back to sleep, but was up again within 30 minutes. By that time Hayden was waking up wanting to eat, so Mark brought Colb downstairs and slept on the couch with him. Long story short, he cried all morning in pain and we finally got to see the Dr. at 11am. This is what we found out..... he still has mono, he has a cold a bad one, he has asthma, that's why he is coughing so much, and the pain in his arm is from a rib sprain called a Costral Chondral Sprain which is not serious and will heal it's self. It just means that the joint where the rib cartilage meets the rib bone has an infection in it probably caused from the mono. So I give him Motrin for the pain and fever, he is on an oral steroid and an inhaler for the asthma, (which he is trying to learn how to use!) and is ordered to get lots of rest for the mono. The poor kid is so sick. And let me tell you, he is not the easiest sick kid in the world, I totally have my work cut out for me! At least we are starting Spring Break and he won't miss anymore school. He was invited to a late night party tonight though and is beside himself that he can't go. He keeps telling Cameron how lucky he is that he is not sick. I guess Mark and I will have to have a late night party at home for Colb. So....don't let your kids get mono, it's not east to get them to get all the rest they need which makes it really hard for them to get over it. Not that any of you would let your kids get mono, but you know what I mean!

I don't really know how to use the Picassa program and so these pictures are totally out of order. There are a lot them too, but it's my blog and I get to do what ever I want right! Nathaniel
Cam and Jacob digging for worms at Grandma's. Cam was so glad that the worms were alive after all the snow!

Kristy and Hilary and the two cute babies. We wish Kristy lived closer too, Washington DC is just to far away.

I think it might be impossible to get a picture of all six kids looking at the camera at the same time! Look at those cheesy grins, wow!

I love Colby's smile in this picture, it is so natural. Caroline filled her pants right when I took the picture and Colby thought it was so funny!!!!

These two babies were so much fun together. Hayden looks like he is going to eat Caroline's sleeve, and he probably would if we let him!

Cousins

This is Colby and Cameron's favorite picture of Hayden. They crack up laughing every time they see it!!!!

A couple of weeks ago, Ryan and Julie and the kids came up to visit. The kids were so excited to see each other and Hayden and Caroline finally got to meet, (Caroline was born 16days after Hayden). We had lots of fun playing at G.Ma's house and our house and at a park in Provo. It's just to bad that we don't live closer together so we can see them more often.

Coconut French Toast

One of my favorite cooking magazines, thanks to my mom, is Taste of Home. Their Spring 2008 issue is so great! I tried this Coconut French Toast for breakfast Sunday morning and we loved it! Well, Mark and I loved it, my kids will not eat home made French Toast, they say they only like the frozen French Toast Sticks. Yuck, someday they will learn to appreciate homemade everything! Anyway, this recipe was so easy and so good. Give it a try and let me know what you think. If you like it you can find other great recipes here.
