Green smoothies take on a whole new world and hot soup, no problem. I even made play dough and almond butter in it the other day.
We have been following the Greensmoothiegirl.com diet. I didn't think I would like it because I HATE to drink my food. But after committing to try it for a week I find my self loving the smoothies! They are uber good for you and have 15 servings of veggies in one smoothie.
I will share the one I love the most.

2 Cups water
3 cups spinach
1 leaf kale
1 cup carrots
1 large orange
1 frozen banna
1 cup frozen berries
1/4 cup fresh pineapple
2 Tbs ground flax meal
I'm working on reducing the ammount of fruit and increasing the veggies, we'll see how that goes!

Smoothies are so retro, but I happen to love them. Who wouldn't love a meal you can just drink in a large cup?
As a matter of fact, I just made Banana Frost smoothies a couple of seconds ago. Mmmmmm...breakfast on the go. Now we're on our way to get cupcakes from GiGis. Hey! We all have to have balance in our lives.
ooohhh...so jealous. I want one of these. Darrell doesn't see the need since we have a Bosch, which blends great and makes great smoothies.
But to make almond butter and other stuff would be fantastic!

What model did you get? I've been looking at them, but just don't know how much I wanna fork out. So I'm trying to decide if I wanna go with the cheaper/older model or??
Are you trying to go all raw?? What about your kids?

Looks like a very similar recipe to one that we make around here!
J~ not trying to go 100% raw, just changing a few things. Meat, carbs, sugar and dairy being the main ones. And not 100% vegetarian either, just only a couple servings of meat a week. It is just such a healthy way to eat we thought we would make more of an effort this year to do so.
