I love saving money!
This past Saturday Colby, Clara and I went shopping in Park City while Mark took Cameron and Hayden to Cabelas. I usually avoid the outlet mall on Saturday but I had Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket and Colby needed new shoes so we braved the crowds and the cold.
I love the Old Navy Outlet for my kids clothes. I really can't find a better prices hardly anywhere else. I only shop the clearance racks and they are hit and miss, but this trip there were a hit. I got some great stuff for a great price. After what felt like 10 hours to Colby, we left Old Navy to head the the Fossil Store. I needed a new purse and I always check Fossill. Of course they had some really cute bags but only a few that were an additional 50% off the sale price. I chose one that I wasn't totally in love with but it was a great price and I was desperate.
So we got home and I tried Clara's clothes on her, a couple of things didn't fit.
I put my new purse on my dresser and looked at it all weekend. I decided that I really didn't like it and wanted to take it back and get the one that I really liked and just pay the extra money.
Today Hayden, Clara and I braved the -15degree temperature and went back to Park City.
Much to my delight Old Navy was now having a sale of and additional 40% off of already reduced items. I gave them my receipt and they gave me a price adjustment of almost $20.00! I also looked around a little more and found some other great shirts for myself for a whole .97cents!
Next we went in to Fossil and what do you know??? The purse I loved was now on sale for and additional 50% off which made it the same price as the one I had bought first!!!!
I am still so thrilled with my luck I had to share!
