I am in the process of making a 10year Birthday picture book for Colby and I found this picture while looking through picture files.
It kinda surprised that tears immediately came to my eyes!
This picture is a treasure. It was the last time we saw my Grandpa alive.
This last Christmas Eve was 2 years since he died. We lost my Grandma this past July.
I know that my kids are young and won't really remember them, but I'm really glad that they knew them for a little while. I find myself thinking about them a lot. I was really blessed to have grown up next to them. They were GREAT people. It will be a glorious day when we are all together again.

You just had to, didn't you. :) It was so dejavu seeing that picture on my screen. Immediately took me back from 2 yrs ago to 10 yrs ago...almost like I am still living in that moment with them again. The world just isn't the same without either of them, especially Nana!
